After losing one of the most important people in her life, Aryanna continued to hide her true self from everyone who cared about her, but it was a choice she had always thought she had made herself.
When Reuben comes into the picture, during a holiday with her family, it is clear she hides herself for reasons far more complex than she had thought.
While both seem reluctant to get together, the connection is inevitable, as relatability draws them ever closer, but Aryanna must face her past in order to move on.
And letting go has never meant as much as it does now...
♥ ♥ Pretty Little Review ♥ ♥
This is a very enjoyable holiday novella. I found the characters to be quite fun- Aryanna is quite sassy and I definitely found myself laughing at her antics in the book. Ruben is also quite enjoyable with a bit less character development than Aryanna.
The story is about a man and a woman both who have lost some very important people in their lives. So when their lives cross at a holiday visit two unlikely strangers find that they have more in common than just their losses. Add in a bit of spice, romanticism, and hilarious characters and you have yourself a great book!
For those looking for a light holiday read you may want to check out this book. Overall I found it to be quite enjoyable. I also liked how the story takes place outside of the United States. Adds a bit more uniqueness to the book!
♥ ♥ About the Author ♥ ♥
The author was born as Rochelle de Beer on 15 May 1992 in Klerksdorp, South Africa, and as an only child, the world seemed like a lonely place, until she set her mind free and got lost in the worlds she created herself. Her writing started at a young age and with numerous stories still waiting to be released from her mind, only time now seems to hold her back. She also have a degree in BSc. Environmental and Biological Sciences, because she is a tree hugging animal lover, who hopes to never use her degree to cause cruelty.
