A romantic cabin in the mountains. And a man who knows how to get lost…
With a brand-new M.D. behind her name and a wonderful man by her side, Nichole Atherton thought she had her happily-ever-after all sorted out. Then her fiancé told her he was gay. Nic can fake a smile better than anyone, but she’s hanging by a thread. She just has to make it through her best friend’s wedding…and an encounter with his nightmare little brother, Tucker Matthews.
Weddings make Tucker antsy—he’s got a bad track record with “forever.” The family screw-up became a screw-up famous rock star, and bottomed out fast. Now he’s putting his life back together, and the last person he wants to see is perfect Nichole. No matter how hot the fantasies he had about her growing up, Nichole is out of his league and he knows it. It’s just too bad they have so much chemistry. Because there’s no way the two of them could ever make it last…
♥ ♥ My Review ♥ ♥
Nick of Time is the second novel in the Blue Ridge Romance Series. It is an easy and enjoyable read that will leave readers satisfied. This book can be read as a standalone. It is about two people who hated each other growing up but when they meet again years later for a wedding, undeniable sparks begin to fly.
Overall I really enjoyed this book and I think fans of romance will love it too. It is about two people who connect when they get locked in a cabin on a cold and icy night right before their best friend/brother’s wedding. Although the two are supposed to hate each other, neither one can deny their lust for one another. So the two reconnect (on many levels) and their relationship turns from cold to hot. However, just as their relationship is budding, problems begin to arise. Tucker you see is becoming a famous musician and with famous musicians you get jealousy. But Tucker has so much more trouble when previous addiction issues come into play. Can the two get over these problems? Or will they year them apart? Read and you will find out!
This is the first book I have read from the author, Allison B. Hanson, but it won’t be my last! It is a heartwarming tale of love and forgiveness. Readers will enjoy the interaction between the characters and complexities of their issues. I highly recommend this one, readers! It’s a goodie!
