They call me Rage.
My real name is like a shadow, always close behind, but never quite able to catch up.
I fly under the radar because no one ever suspects I’m capable of the kind of brutal violence I commit each and every day.
You see, I’m a girl. I’m nineteen.
And I'm a killer.
This life is all I know. It’s all I want to know. It keeps the s**t buried that I need kept buried. It allows me to live without thinking too much.
Without dwelling on the past.
It all changes when an ordinary boy becomes my next target.
And my first love.
I have to choose.
The only life I’ve ever known has to die, or he does.
Either way, I’ll be the one pulling the trigger...
All the Rage is a STANDALONE.
It’s no secret that I love everything that T.M. Frazier writes. She has a gift with bringing out the darker sides of the human psyche in her characters- I freakin LOVE this. What I also love about her books is that even though many of them can standalone, each book incorporates characters from her other books (whether they play a small or large part). It is a tangled web that they all live, but each are so much more alike than they want to think. All the Rage is a standalone novel, but readers who have read the authors other books will know that Rage has a played a part in all the other characters lives. So it was really nice to see that she got her own story. Did I love this one? YES! I loved being able to get to know this demon girl at a more intimate level. She is one of those characters that readers would never expect to like but they fall in love with her anyways. She is DARK. She is smart. And she is DEADLY. All of this is a lethal combination and Frazier pulls it off. I hated to see the story end. But I can’t wait to see which other character stories come out of it…
T.M. Frazier has a knack for writing a dark book with loveable characters. The way she tells Rage’s story is utter perfection and I wouldn’t expect anything less. Once you get started with her books you will be hooked and have to read each and every one of them… Just like me! <3 Rage is a very complex character and she is like no other character I have ever read about. This is especially true considering that she is a girl. Rage is dark, deadly, and utterly horrifying and people wouldn’t want to get stranded with her in a dark alley. But when Nolan comes along (the hot hockey player who is injured) Rage’s whole life begins to change. You see, Rage has no feelings. She doesn’t love. She doesn’t care. And she loves the thrill of a kill. But when she meets Nolan, this kind of changes… But for him only. Can Rage ever feel like a normal human being does? Or is she destined to live this dark like forever?
Readers, if you haven’t read anything by the author yet I highly recommend doing so. I would start off with King and work your way up to this book. The reason being is that she does make appearances in other books (really one book, but so what), and reading them in an order will allow you to understand her and the others motivations (it just really rounds out the series better). More importantly, they are all pretty freakin amazing in their own way so they should all be read. For those who HAVE read her other books, well, you know you need to read this one. It’s just as good as the others but a bit more unique as we have a deadly female protagonist rather than just the males that we are used to… Oh, and did I mention the twist? Because there is one that will leave you flabbergasted! Pick. This. UP!
