ABOUT THE BOOK
Veronica Buccino has a plan: marry John DelMonico and quit her soul-sucking job as a lawyer. And when he tells her he has big news, she’s certain he’ll pop the question. But instead of proposing, John informs her that he’s moving to London.
Heartbroken, Veronica feels lost. Salvatore and Antoinette, her dead grandparents, begin to visit her dreams in an attempt to steer her in the right direction. At their suggestion, Veronica takes a news reporting class, which leads to a challenging freelance assignment covering a conspiracy trial. She also begins dating an unlikely suitor: creative Syd Blackman.
Just when her love life and career are looking up, Veronica is tossed back to square one by an event that makes her question all her new choices.
PRETTY LITTLE BOOK REVIEW
This novel is SUPER CUTE and UNIQUE. The story drew me in from the beginning and wouldn’t let go of me until the end. In all honesty, I didn’t even want to take a break from reading it as I found it to be so much fun. The author is able to turn a regular chick lit novel into something more with this book. She is able to successfully add a supernatural flair that is sure to keep reader’s attentions. I really loved the idea that the heroine’s dead grandparents played a part in this novel and play an influential role in her decision making. Without them, this would be your average run of the mill chick lit novels like all others. THANKFULLY, the author added some SPICE into it with these characters and I certainly look forward to reading her other novels in the future! Fans of chick lit with a twist will want to pick up this book. You won’t be disappointed and you may just find your new “go to” author like I have!
