PRETTY LITTLE BOOK REVIEW
James Patterson is the KING of murder mysteries and thrillers. Every time I pick up one of his books I know that I am going to be put on a mind blowing journey from page one all the way through to the end. This is no different with Murder House and I am quite pleased with how it turned out.
The story follows officer Jenna Murphy and her hunt for a serial killer who is literally impaling his victims. Unfortunately for Jenna though, this hunt is a rollercoaster ride, one that nearly ends with her being profiled as the killer. But Jenna is a tough cop, one that with the right people beside her, can figure out the case before it's too late. And when the story comes to the end and the killer is finally revealed, not only will Jenna be surprised but so readers...
James Patterson is a fantastic author. It's pretty cool that he can release like a bagillion books a year and all of them be of great quality. It's also pretty brilliant the way he uses the same writing formula in each book yet, manages to boggle his readers minds with each one.
I know there are not many readers out there who haven't had the Patterson experience, but if you HAVEN'T, this would be a GREAT book to start. It's a standalone mystery and thriller (he has many that are within a series) and you get get a great experience in reading it and seeing his writing style.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this novel to fellow readers. Sure, it's a little long which can seem daunting, but the chapters are fairly short and before long you find yourself on chapter 80 something! It's that good and extremely fast paced for the number of pages the book has!
