This & That is a fun blog post that features two books with similar themes, tropes, or something else that makes them similar to one another. So basically, if you liked one book (this) than there is a good chance you will like the other (that).
It's been a while since I have written a This & That post! These are so much fun to write, but I get so distracted with other things that this feature has been falling to the wayside. Sigh... At least I have it up now, right? In this post, I am sharing two books with naughty doctors!!!! That's right, they are naughty, they are swoony, and they are delicious! I absolutely adored both of these books, they are both 5 star reads for me. So have a look below.
What devotion I’d hoped to earn in respect, I’ve instead received in patients flashing me seductive smiles and flirtatious winks during their exams.
How’s a guy supposed to convince the most perfect woman he’s ever met that he’s not as much of an idiot in real life as he appears to be on camera?
With all of the show’s side effects taking root like parasites, it’s going to take a lot to persuade Melody Marco to be anything more than my new nurse.
But I can’t get her out of my head.
I want her.
Good thing I’ve never been one to back away from a challenge…
Get ready, Melody.
The doctor is in.
Both Wrong and Dr. Obscene contain swoon worthy hero's. Who also happen to be... Gynecologists! Both are also hilarious romantic comedies, the first book in the series (of standalones), and feature some very sassy heroines who will charm you just as much as the hero's do. I had some serious girl crushes going on. So don't be surprised if you do too! I also found both of these doctors to be very naughty. They are going after women who they really aren't supposed to, but they can't help themselves! And the things they do in the office? Blush worthy!
If you have read one book, then I would highly recommend reading the other because they are FABULOUS. If you haven't read either one, I suggest picking up Wrong first because it's one of my all time favorite books. Either way, if you liked one, you are more than likely going to like the other!!! Let me know if you have read them by commenting below!
Even though both of these books are very similar in nature, there are some major differences as well. In Wrong, the heroine is actually a PATIENT of the doctor. In Dr. OB, they are co-workers. Another significant difference between the two is that there is a significant age gap between the hero and heroine in Wrong. The heroine is a college student in need of birth control, while our handsome doctor is clearly already out of college. This age difference teeters on being taboo, but not in the gross way! He isn't 70 or anything.. Just a little bit older.
In conclusion, both of these books are freakin AH-MAY-ZING and I highly recommend both. They are funny, charming, and oh so very naughty. Why not give them a try? And if you have, I would love to know what you think!
