REVIEW POLICY AND INFORMATION
COMMON QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED BELOW
How long will it take you to read my book? This will all depend on my ARC load. I do my best to have books read and reviewed within a month, but sometimes life can get in the way and it can take me 2 months. This is rare, but has happened in the past. If you have a book that must be read within a certain time frame please let me know within the email or comments section. I may be able to squeeze you in depending on my "book mood".
What formats do you accept? Kindle, PDF, and print copies are accepted. I am a kindle owner. Print copies can also be sent to my home address. You can easily email me for my address once you send me a message.
How will I know you read and reviewed my book? Normally I will send you links to my reviews, but not always. This is simply because it takes a ton of time to write up my reviews, send them to all retail platforms, and blog about it. I am forgetful! So, if you don't get an email from me, feel free to send me a quick one! If for some reason I didn't like the book, I will also push it aside. Remember, I only rate ARC's above 3 stars on my blog.
What will you include in your review? Included in every review you will find the cover, synopsis, purchase links, my review, and the other books that are in the series (if applicable). If you have teasers, want to add in a guest post or interview, or if you would like to do a joint giveaway I will be happy to put it in the review as well. All you need to do is send me over the materials (excerpts are welcome too).
What circumstances will won't you review my book? If I cannot give the book a higher rating than 3 stars than I will not review it. This is for a few reasons. First, it takes a lot of time to write up my review with graphics and then cross promote on social media and amazon. So if I didn't enjoy it then it doesn't make sense for me write it all up and then critique it. Secondly, I am all for positivity. If a reader sees that I didn't like your book (I get about 10,000 + viewers on my blog weekly) than they may be less likely to pick it up. I don't want to take readers away from authors so if it's not my cup of tea I will put it aside and start on something else.
What do your ratings mean? There are many things that will influence my ratings and this would inclue if the I can relate to the characters, if the story is unique or predictable, and the writing style. With that being said here is how I use my own rating system:
Below you will find a very SIMPLE review request form that you may use. You are also welcome to send me a simple email. I review the following genres:
If you intend to send me an email rather than use the request form below, please be sure to add the cover and link to where I can find more information on the book (i.e. amazon, goodreads, etc.)
