It’s the start of nothing good.
I fired off a storm of raunchy text messages…to the wrong number.
And he replied.
Him: Show me a picture.
Him: Tell me your name.
Why does the lure of anonymity have me craving to indulge a stranger?
It’s the start of everything right.
I received a slew of text messages…when everything in my life was wrong.
And she made me laugh again.
Her: You’re probably a creeper.
Her: Possibly a stalker.
Why do I have the overwhelming need to find this stranger who saved me and make her mine?
Him: Take a chance with me.
Her: This is crazy.
Him: I need to see you.
Her: What are we doing?
Him: We’re about to find out.
Her: PHOTO ATTACHED
Him: PHOTO ATTACHED

This book... OMG I freakin LOVED IT. I can't remember the last time I read a true romantic comedy, but this book is definitely IT! K Webster and JD Hollyfield need to write more books together because this one is just too amazing for words! I laughed so damn hard while reading it (and probably got the stink eye from a few people because of said laughter) and didn't want to put it down! I read it in one sitting... So good! I am now very IMPATIENTLY waiting to hear of a release date for Hate 2 Lovers which will be based on two of the most hilarious secondary characters I have come across in a long time. Squee!!! I can't wait. If you can't tell by my excitement of this book that I loved it.. Well that's on you! But, this is definitely a must read romantic comedy. Readers should be warned though that quite a few giggle snorts are bound to come out of your body when reading it. So do so in privacy if you can otherwise, you may get some funny looks from people!
On that note, this is a very unique story about two people who "meet" by chance through a wrong number text message. Our heroine Dani is the one who sends out the text to a random stranger (later to be introduced as Ram) because of a drunken night that she succumbs too when she catchers her boyfriend cheating on her. Dani, who is usually a meek and timid girl (often described as too nice) decides she needs to hit her ex where it hurts and sends some awfully funny and mean texts his way. He deserves it of course but too bad that these messages don't land on his phone...
Ram, the recipient of these texts pretty much does a double take when he starts to get some weird texts from a number he doesn't know. And, he unexpectedly becomes enamored with the woman behind the texts. Getting to know her better thus becomes something he has to do...
These text messages set the two off on a very sexy and interesting journey towards love. With several mishaps and quite a few swoon worthy moments, readers are bound to fall instantly in love with them and their story. As I mentioned before, readers will also enjoy the secondary characters as they have a very volatile relationship(ish) that sets them apart from almost any other characters I have been introduced too. So be warned, you will want to read about them too.
Obviously, I highly recommend this novel. It's fun, exciting, angsty, a little dirty, and completely swoon worthy. Best of all? It's bound to be one of my favorite books of the year!
