She was different, but so was I. Life made us colder. Harder. Isolated.
Even though we were different, the broken pieces of me recognized the sadness in her.
Now she was back, and I wouldn’t make the mistake of letting her go again.
When I first met Jasmine Greene, she came in as raindrops.
When we met again, I became her darkest storm.

Once again, Brittainy C. Cherry brings readers an undeniable romance that will touch the hearts of anyone who reads it. Behind the Bars is the first in a brand new series. Having fallen hopelessly in love with the Elements series I wasn't sure how this one would stand against it, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it to be just as good and just as emotional as that one. The raw emotion oozes from the pages, the build up of the romance is gorgeous, and the way the author weaves the story is utterly brilliant.
If you are a romance junkie, one who craves an emotionally charged romance that will bring you to your knees then I recommend anything from Brittainy, even this book. If you're a fan of romances with music as a backdrop and a plot that is thick with beauty, this is your book!
