Dear Bridget, I Want You is one of my favorite books by the authors (both together and apart). It's a funny and heartwarming novel that will make any reader swoon!
Rating: ★★★★★
Release Date: September 18, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Series: None. Standalone.

Pages: 255
Format: eBook (purchased)
Dear Bridget,
I'm writing this letter because it's highly doubtful I'll ever garner the courage to say this to your face.
So, here goes.
We're totally wrong for each other. You're the proper single mum with a good head on your shoulders. I'm just the carefree British doctor passing through town and temporarily living in your converted garage until I head back to England.
But here's the thing... for some bloody reason, I can't stop thinking about you in very inappropriate ways.
I want you.
The only reason I'm even admitting all of this to you right now is because I don't believe it's one-sided. I notice your eyes when you look at me, too. And as crass as I appear when we're joking
around about sex, my attraction to you is not a joke.
So, what's the purpose of this note? I guess it's a reminder that we're adults, that sex is healthy and natural, and that you can find me just through the door past the kitchen. More specifically, it's to let you know that I'm leaving said door cracked open from now on in case you'd like to visit me in the middle of the night sometime.
No questions asked.
Think about it.
Or don't.
Whatever you choose.
It's doubtful I'll even end up sliding this letter under your door anyway.

Read my Book Review

Release Date: September 18, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance

I loved this book! It's both heartwarming and funny, has a cast of amazing characters, and a little bit of a twist to keep things interesting. The feels in this one is OFF THE CHARTS. I swooned, I squeed, and I felt my heart MELT at the sincerity and love that poured out of these pages. Because of all this, it's safe to say that Penelope and Vi are my favorite writing duo EVER. I have read all the books they have written together and each time I say to myself, this is their best one yet! Clearly, they just keep getting better and better. LOVE IT!!!! With that, this book captured my heart and made it so that I could not put it down. It's PERFECT. I highly recommend it to everyone who loves a good romance.

Dear Bridget, I Want You is a standalone contemporary romance novel. The hero in this one is a swoony British Doctor who can dirty talk better than anyone else. He's tall, sexy, and extremely well put together (I know, this is a book, but you can just TELL). Underneath his crassness and humor though it is extremely clear that he also has a heart of gold. His interactions with the woman her has set his eyes on AND her son is downright adorable and heartfelt. Sure, in the beginning he is like all the rest- doesn't want a relationship, can't settle down etc. but once he finds his soulmate, things begin to slowly change....

Our heroine Bridget is a sweet single mum. She lost her husband a few years ago in a car accident and has been making ends meet with her nursing job ever since. But because she doesn't want to just live paycheck to paycheck she decides to rent out an in law apartment in her home. And guess who rents it??? THE SWOONY DOCTOR with the KILLER BRITISH ACCENT. Can you imagine what happens from here? Well, you can TRY but you SHOULD read it. Because their journey to love is GORGEOUS.

This book is a MUST READ. I'm telling you, this book will make you feel things. You'll probably smile the whole way through too because it's so adorably sweet. I couldn't recommend it enough.
